Teamwork
Teamwork is a term to describe a group of people working together to achieve a goal.
Teamwork consists of three main mechanisms.
Communication is sharing ideas with others. Use a sign to communicate with a teammate so they could do something. In dodgeball an example of this is use hand jestures to warn a teamate a ball is coming their way.
Cooperation is letting a group know what someone is doing so they could follow on. For example in dodgeball someone is throwing multiple balls to each person in a team so they can attack the other team.
Collaboration is showing actions to teammates so they could work together. For example in dogdeball teamate will wave hands to another teammate to talk with them.
(This video shows the mechanism of communication.)(This video shows the mechanism of collaboration.)
To be successful as a team all three mechanisms need to be implemented throughout the activity.

Fact or Opinion
Today LS1 worked on fact or opinion for the book The Highway Rat.
The character in The Highway Rat that I did was the duck.
For fact I got to write down a text in the story thats including the duck and the opinion is to write down why you think the Duck is acting like it.
Next we wrote 5 adjectives to describe the character traits.
I enjoyed this activity. I need to work on my fact or opinion because it didn't make sense.
Multiplication
This week my group and I worked on multiplication.
Multiplication is a faster way to add the same number many times.
First our group worked on 2 x 8. Their were 2 small groups and 8 groups. we multiplied them both and 2 x 8 = 16.
Second our group worked on 3 x 9. Their were 3 small groups and 9 groups. we multiplied them both and 3 x 9 = 27.
Lastly our group worked on 2 x 12. Their were small groups of 2 and 12 groups. We multiplied them both and 2 x 12 = 24.
I enjoyed it because the counters helped me work on the multiplication.
