Fractions
First I had to match the fractions.
Next I got you label and shade the fractions
Lastly I created my own fractions, labeled, and shaded them in.
I found this useful because how to do fractions using different shapes, the second part was the hardest because I had to think about what shape whould match a fraction.

Problem solving
First we start by adding the ones together 4+6=10+7 =17.
Next we add the tens which are 20+20+10=50. Now we add the answers together 17+50=67.
Now we know that she practised for 67 minutes. So now we subtract 67 from 90. 0-7 is impossible to do so we do 10-7=3.
Lastly we do 80-60=20 then we add it together which equals 23 so Leilani needs to practise for another 23 minutes.
I didn't really know what to do so I looked at other peoples and tried getting my own understanding of it.

Statistical investigation.
First made data of how many blog post my group we checked our blogs to see how many blog posts we had in each month.
Next we drew a data table that has all the information. January has 0 blog posts, February has 15 blog posts, March 51 blog posts, April has 50 blog posts, May has 86 blog posts, June has 57 blog posts, and July has 17 blog posts.
To finish up made a bar graph and a pie chart. After that we wrote 3 statements about the information. The statements are January is the lowest because we had school holidays. May, June, and March are the most because we were at school for a whole month. July is also the lowest because we only had 2 weeks of school
I enjoyed it because I learnt new things about statistics

Addition and Subtraction
Addition and Subtraction can be solved by two strategies: counting on/back, rounding and compensating.
Counting on is adding forward using fingers, when the number added is under ten. Counting back is subtracting using fingers, when the the number subtracted is under ten.
Rounding and compensating is rounding the added or subtracted number to the nearest tidy number, then compensating for the rounding. Compensating is done by splitting the new number into the old number and the leftover.
Counting on/back and rounding and compensating are easy strategies to use for addition and subtraction, when numbers get too big to be solved with basic facts.

Measurement-Length
I learnt about length measurement.
First we wrote four of the measurements, the abbreviations, and how many measurements make another measurement. For exampe, 100 cm = 1 m.
Second I watched a video on how to measure different objects without a ruler or a measuring tape.
Lastly I found an object to estimate the length and to measure the actual length of the object.
I enjoyed the subject because learnt the units of measurement.

Flip, Slide, Turn.
There are 3 different sorts of movements. Those 3 movments are reflection, rotation and tranlation.
A flip/reflection is creating a mirror image of something.
A rotate/turn is something that is facing in different directions.
A translation/slide is moving something to a any position.

Flip, rotation and translation
Flip is a reflection copying an object or someone in reverse. For example, when you look into a mirror it shows a reflection of yourself.
Rotation is turning someone or something in any direction. For example, when a car moves around a corner the wheel is rotated.
Translation is sliding someone or something from one place to another place. For example, on a playground children go down the slide.

Calendars
Calendars show us the day, week or month.
There are 12 months in a year, they are; January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November, December.
Months have 28, 30 or 31 days.
There are number patterns on a calendar by looking for four connecting days for example 20, 60, 100.
Knowing before and after number sequence and 7 timetables help us reading a calendar.

Problem Solving
I made problem solving questions about the analogue time.
First, I wrote a sentence about the analogue time. For example, Lucas went to a birthday party at 8:23 and left at 9:50. How long did Lucas stay at the birthday party?
Afterwards, I added pictures of the analogue clock to support my demonstration.
I enjoyed this subject because I got to write my own problem solving questions.

Basic Fact Boxes
I did speed demon for times table. I got 5 minutes 28 seconds to complete it and also got 90/100.
Next time I do a basic facts I should increase my time into 4 minutes or 3 minutes.
Time
Digital and analog time help us what time of day it is.
Digital time displays numbers for minutes and hours and uses am or pm to tell us what time of day it is.
Elapsed time is how much time has gone by. Skip counting in 5's helps caculate how much time has elapsed.

Next time I answer them I should be alot faster by practising so my time would be 4 mins or 5 mins.

Analog Clock
Analog clock are a piece of technology that help tell time.
A clock has 3 mechanisms.
The second hand moves around the clock the fastest.
The minute hand is the longest and moves when the second completes 1 rotation a full rotation of the minute hand is 1 hour.
The hour hand moves the slowest and moves between the big numbers.
