Zoo Recount

Woosh! First we appeared at the zoo and in our groups.
I was in Kahu’s mum’s group. We went and looked at
some animals like an Otter, Red Pandas and Tuatara. 

First we went to explore the zoo.
We couldn't find the Red Pandas but then we looked up
and it was on the tree. There were two Red Pandas on
the tree and they were sleeping. Then we saw a Kea,
Kiwi and Bat. We saw a Penguin.

We met Hohepa and went to the African part, we saw
the Baboons and Elephants. One Elephant painted a
picture and Hohepa showed it to us. We saw the
Elephants chucking bark on their backs in the Africa
part. The zookeeper handed us paper which I thought
was normal paper but it was Elephant poo paper.

After that we saw Rhinos and they had a big horn on
their head. We saw another animal which looked like a
deer but it didn't have a horn. 

My favorite part was when our group went to the kiwi
section  and my second favourite part was not seeing
the Tarantulas.
