Print Design Rules

The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly - Print Design Rules

Use this document to record your notes as you go around the different posters to identify the four areas of print design. 

Have a balance of pictures and sentences.  Use in images that relate to the text. 
Have margins and align text and images. Use most of the space.
Don't use clashing colours use a harmonic colour scheme. Use contrasting background and foreground colours.
Keep consistent fronts and size. Make sure the text is legible.

Composition

Layout

  • The layout is good
  • The text is in the way of the title
  • The layout is all in the right place
  • The profile is near the picture, and the pictures are in the wrong place. Also the title that says about android is bigger than the text.

  • This one is good because it is all aligned. 
  • This one is bad because it is has different fonts
  • This one is good because it is aligned to the left properly
  • All the text is in a different spot.
