Simple machines

Simple machines are tools to help people work easier.

A lever is used to lift heavy objects from a low ground to a high ground.

An incline plane is a ramp to move heavy objects from a low ground to a high ground.

An axel wheel is used to move heavy objects easier.

A pully can lift objects from a low level to a high level.

A screw is a tool to attach objects together.

A wedge is used to cut hard objects.

Simple Machines are still commonly used today to move objects.

  1. Hi Koura-beau, I like how you explained how the six simple machines work. What was your favourite machine?

    1. Kia ora Kahu, My favourite machine is the incline plane because it can move heavy objects from a low ground to a high ground. What simple machine do you think is most useful?
