SSR Selfie | Baby Giraffes

I read 24 pages of (Baby Giraffes) by Deanna Caswell.

The first fact the book teaches readers about is at 4 months old, calves begin eating leaves between milk meals.

The book also tells how tall Giraffes can get from a baby to an adult, and it tells what a Giraffe can eat and what a Giraffes cannot eat.

The book also tell how tall a giraffe can get from a baby to an adult.

The book is fun and teaches readers about Baby Giraffes.

I enjoyed the book because it tells information about Baby Giraffes. People who want to learn or know about them could read this book.

SSR Selfie | Minecraft guide to ocean survivial

I read 25 pages of (Minecraft guide to ocean survival) by Stephanie Milton, Ryan Marsh.

The book shows how to find treasure in the ocean for people to find.

The book also shows sea creatures to be careful of, (eg) a drowned is a drowned man that attacks anyone that is near it.

I enjoyed the character because the author tells how the character acts and what it does.

Basic Facts Chart

I created a basic facts chart using Google Sheets.

My partner and I started by finding number bonds and doubles using blocks.

While finding out some basic facts, I recorded the results in a google sheet.

Next I created a chart by using google sheet shortcuts like copy (Ctrl+C) and paste (Ctrl+V) and repeated numbers on the Google sheet

I enjoyed the basic facts because I used the cubes to help me with the task.

Building a xylophone.

Today I made two xylophones from paper and glass cups.

I put water in the glass cups so when I hit it it will make a different sound. I cut the paper in smaller pieces so when I hit it it will make different sounds.

when you hit the objects the sound vibrates in it to make sound.

below shows 2 videos of me hitting the objects.

Presentation | Inquiry

We presented our inquiry presentation to the teachers of LS1 the teachers are ,Mr Wong & Mr Ogilvie.

Before presenting our inquiry, we practised our script and timed how long the whole presentation took. The presentation expectation was to be within 2 and 3 minutes.

The feedback that we got was to not write a recount on what we worked on together, but instead talk about the main points of the activity.

Te reo Maori

Today for SLJ we worked on te reo Maori.

first we had to fix the gaps that spell (What are you doing today) in Maori and then it says what are you doing and have to fill the gaps in and lastly we get to answer the same question but at the end was my choice to choose.

Below is a google slide showing what I did.
