SLJ | Stan Lee

Vector art was the third activity that I have done. To create these images it uses lines, curves, and polygons to create the image. When people create this art is doesn't looks the focus/quality of the image, if people zoom in.

In the image I have created my hero, Stan Lee. He is an author for the Marvel comic books and is very famous for the books he wrote. The reason why I chose Stan Lee is because he is a very wise man and entiertained alot of people and probably inspired them to make their own books. He and his comics have been so succseful that many directors have been making shows and movies about his marvel comics.

Geometree Art | SLJ

 I did my third activity for SLJ is called Geometree Art. 

The first step is to get a sheet of paper or use google drawing, then draw lines in shape of a tree, after draw small shapes to make it look like tree leafs, lastly colour in the shapes to make a geometree art.

The space station has been active by astronauts since November 2000, however Zarya launched the first space station in November 1998.

This is the first activity for Summer Learning Journey for Panmure Bridge School, it is called Art Colouring Book - Nasa Edition. There would be nine pictures that are linked with Nasa or space, you would pick one picture then colour it in.

A few years ago astronauts were not able to communicate with people on the surface but now astronauts can send emails to friends and family and make phone calls using the hook-up through the computers.

Week 4 | Fractured Fairytales

I created and completed week 4 on my fractured fairy tale.

The first I step I took was looking back at my two fairy tales I did last week, I made a few changes to the story. The only things I changed was the characters and the settings in the story.

Next I wrote down all the parts of the story and changed parts of the story.

I enjoyed this activity because I used my imagination to create my story.

Fairy Tales | Week 3

I created a google drawing where I changed little bits of Jack and the Beanstalk.

First, I thought of some stories that I could use for the google slide. The story I chose was Jack and the Beanstalk.

Next, I wrote the settings, characters, confleit, start, and ending.

Lastly, I created a google slide sheet with 6 pages and info about the fairy tale.

I found this activity hard because I kept on changing the fairy tales because they didn't make sense.

SSR Selfie

I read a fiction book called How Maui Fished Up The North Island.

The main characrter was Maui.

When Maui emerged he managed to convince his brothers to row out to the deepest part of the ocean, where he cast a fish hook made from his grandmother's jawbone.

I enjoyed reading this book because the book tells how Maui fished up the north island.

Story Arch

I completed a task called story arch. My story arch was about little red riding hood.

First, I did the Orientation. The Orientation is to introduce the characters and the setting

Next, I did the Inciting Incident. The Inciting Incident are events that sets the main character or other characters.

Then, I did the Rising Action Problems. The Rising Action Problems is  where an event happens with an arguement.

Then, I did the Climax. The Climax is the main point of the story.

Then, I did the Success or Failure. The Success or Failure is what happened, good or bad.

Lastly, I did the Resolution. The Resolution is fixing the problem so things are back to normal, even when changes are occured.

I enjoyed doing this activity because I explained small parts of Little Red Riding Hood.

Identifying Fractions

 I created fractions using pizza slices and squares.

First I wrote the fraction using numerals and writing down the fractions.

Next I used to the pizza slices to show the fractions . I also used squares to show the fractions in a different way.

Last I wrote an explanation. For example, there are five pieces in total, but I only have four.

Next time I will need to challenge myself by doing harder fractions.

Fairy Tales

 The task I did was Fairy Tales.

I got to list 3 fairy tales and listed the characters, settings, problem, and solution.

Character: I got to list characters from the 3 storys.

Setting: I got to put down where the location was when the stroy started.

Problem: I wrote down the problem of the story.

Solution: I wrote down the solution of the story.

 

Fractions

I learned how to do fractions using shapes.

First I had to match the fractions.

Next I got you label and shade the fractions

Lastly I created my own fractions, labeled, and shaded them in.

I found this useful because how to do fractions using different shapes, the second part was the hardest because I had to think about what shape whould match a fraction.

 

Problem Solving

Today I used place value, multiplication and written algorithm to figure out a maths equation.

First, I highlighted the main keywords in the story problem. 

Next, I wrote down the number sentence. 8 x 76.

Then, I multplied the ones. 8 x 6 = 48.

Then, I multiplied the tens 8 x 70 = 560.

After, I combined the answers. 560 + 48 = 608.

Lastly, I wrote down the number sentence but with the answer.

I enjoyed this because it helped me alot figure out written algorithm, place value and multiplication questions.

 Guess the Country from emoji's.

An emoji is used to show an expression or to communicate with someone.

Cube Continue in Space | Art

 I created a art pattern called Cubes continue in Space

First, I got insporation from my recent art I made, Cube in Space.

Next, I got a cube shape.

Lastly, I copied and pasted it to add small details to the art.

I enjoyed this activity because I liked how my art looks like.

Problem Solving

Today I used place value to figure out a maths equation.

I was struggling but enjoyed it because I got the strategies and wrote the answer.

SSR Selfie | Pokemon: Race to Danger

I read 32 pages of (Jedi Academy, Revenge of the sis) by Jarrett J. Krosoczka & Amy Ignatow.

This book shows, the Pokemon hot air balloon race is on. And the prize is a rare Dratini. Windy could have won- but Team Rocket took the wind out of the sails.

I enjoyed the book because I really like pokemon and like how they stoped team Rocket.

Litracy CH1

I did the odd things challenge task.

My odd item that I chose is a Champaign opener. I chose this item because it looks very weird in my opinion.

The things I found weird was how it was designed

This task was fun because I got to wonder around my house to find something weird

SSR Selfie | Jedi Academy, Revenge of the Sis

I read 1 chapter and 4 pages of (Jedi Academy, Revenge of the sis) by Jarrett J. Krosoczka & Amy Ignatow.

This book shows, Christina Graduated from the Jedi Academy from the campus on coruscant and is now at the Jedi Academy at Jedha City. The time she's been there she has been given an assignment but screwed it up, now Ro and her droid hates her for that because it was very important.

I really enjoyed the book because it shows the intresting adventure christina had.

Team Problem Solving

 My team and I solved a problem. We solved the problem in three stratgies. The stratagies were place value, written algoritim, and Times Table.

The problem was, A candy store put 9 jars of lollies for a guessing competition. Each jar contained 63 lollies. How many lollies are there altogether?

The first stratagy we used was times tables.

9 x 63 =???

 9 x 63 = 567

I found this hard but enjoyed it because it can help me with solving equations.

Poetry

I did the poetry task. The word that I chose was, Onomatopoeia

First I thought of some colours, next I wrote down the 14 sentences for all the words.

Next time I want to write the sentences more sentence like for the poetry task.
